Cliff Stewart has engaged in countless Seminars, College Courses, been a Guest Lecturer at the Lethal Force Institute, and taught Within Arms Reach to multiple S.W.A.T. and military units. He has also taught numerous 250-hour VIP Protection Courses and 2- and 3-Day Courses, producing thousands of graduates. While an instructor at St. Mary’s College in Maryland, he developed, taught and demonstrated a curriculum called The History and Application of Martial Arts in the United States. He has been honored and decorated by City of Los Angeles Mayors Tom Bradley and Richard Riordan. An Impact Protection Consultant, Mr. Stewart is also Defensive Tactics Consultant for the Los Angeles Police Department, Manassas Correctional Facility, Montgomery and Dekalb County S.W.A.T. teams, and the Department of the United States Army and Navy Special Operations SEALs Team One.

Among the certification and training that Cliff Stewart has amassed after 40 years of martial arts are: The Aegis Executive Protection Course; Advanced Executive Protection Certification with the Archenbright International Training Institute; the Cobray Protection Training Camp; Ordinance Exposition Executive Protection; and training with his old friend U.S. Army Green Beret Lt. Col Ben Rosen (Retired), who was in charge of Special Operations, Counterterrorism, Firearms and Tactics.

As is necessary for an Elite Professional, Cliff Stewart has multiple advanced certificates including: Bruce Thompson’s Small Arms Management; Special Weapons Training and Advanced S.W.A.T. Weapons and Tactics at Rio Hondo College; Master Instructor Douglas Kennedy’s Courses on Advanced Executive Protection, Advanced Close Quarter Battle, and Close Quarter Battle Instructors Training; the I.P.S. Executive Protection Handgun Course including Special Weapons & Tactics and Explosive Entry; National Rifle Association Instructor’s Courses in Personal Protection, Home Protection and Pistol; Lethal Force Institute LFI-1 and LFI-2 completion with Master Instructor Masaad Ayoob (Mr. Stewart was the first person ever to complete these 2 Courses back-to-back with over 80 hours of rigorous training); the Caliber Press Street Survival for Law Enforcement Series; I.P.S.
